Rev and Gisella Olmedo-Araneta along with Basti, their 4yr old son visited San Francisco. They are our missionaries to the Ukraine. We had the pleasure to host them at our home for a day...so we took them to SixFlags!!! Yay! We had a tremendous time fellowshipping with the Araneta's....especially when it came to eating, and exchanging missionary stories! The Araneta's are a very special family, their sacrifice to see the 'gospel' of our Lord brought to these unreached places are definitely an inspiration. But when in America, do what American's do, 'theme' parks!
Did I already say that we had fun!
By the way Rev's wife Gissella and I are not so distant relatives. Her moms sister married my moms brother. (go figure)
We are definitely going to have them (ask them) to come visit more often.

Be Blessed Araneta's !
See ya soon!

We had the distinct pleasure of having Ptr/Dr Jun Escosar!! He was around for a few hours; barely a day......We'll take it!
We all had a great time being around Ptr JunE, as he poured out his heart and encouraged everyone with the vision of God for EN! We would have loved to hear more....
It was refreshing to hear and get a better perspective from a different point of view. Especially from Godly men! Ptr Jun, thanks for accomodating us into your tight sched...wow! We pray that you will be protected as you travel the 'world' and reach thousands, if not millions more as you serve our Master and King!
Oh yeah, may you play more games too. As you definitely are a 'challenger' to many in the virtual world as well, HaHaHa!
-let's get ready to rumble....!!!
It certainly was a pleasure having you....Keep coming back to visit us at SF!
Until you 'leave your heart' here in San Francisco!

I know, I know, I know..... Haven't posted, blogged, or wrote in a while!
My apologies, sorry. Its been quite a move for us, to say the least. But it is all good! We are gratefull and thankful for our smooth transition from MI to California. From a cold climate state to a much warmer one isnt so bad at all.

My family is now looking forward to seeing what God has planned for His church, and our part in it, in San Francisco and the Bay Area!
We are anxiously (in a good way) awaiting to see how God will pour out His grace upon this land. Please continue to be praying for our new EN church plant in SF and the Bay Area! This will be appreciated a lot!
Here are some pictures we took along the way.....cheers!

My family had just moved from the state of Michigan to the San Francisco Bay Area of California. Its been quite a good few weeks since we moved!
Having to spend time with the people here is really a 'blessing', to say the least...
Here are a few pictures of the times we spent with the ENSF people of the Bay Area.... can you say 'Fun'?

We're on our way to the SF Bay Area....
Were looking forward to helping in our EN Church plant. God has placed it our hearts to participate in what He is doing on this side of America. And we wont miss it for the world.
We will miss the snowy weather of Michigan (not). But we definitely will miss the freindships and the relationships that we've developed in the years we've spent in Michigan. But we definitely look forward to the SF church plant.
Our freinds threw in a little 'despedida' party for us before we left for the Bay
Area... and here are the pix. The last 2 pictures are of some of the tons of boxes we packed for our transition from Michigan to California.
We will be coveting all the prayers from all corners and sectors to see God unveil His awesome plan for us in California. Especially yours, Thanks!!!

New Year 2008 at richland was blessed with Snow! A little too much, i think...it turned into a snowstorm! We are thankful though for the year 2007 and all that God has blessed our family with. What a Blessed Year 2007 was, and we have Jesus to thank!
We all look forward to an awesome 2008, and wonderful year ahead for everybody. Here are some pictures of our little end of year 2007 celebrations! Cheers!

We had a little 'get-together' At Rochester Hills, Michigan. Harry Villalonga and his wife Judee and 2 children reside here. Alvic, Carl and his wonderful wife Kellie had rendezvoued in Chicago and joined us here for a mini-reunion at Michigan. Lourdes took some time off from work too, and joined us for a wonderful get-together!
What can I say? WOW! Who would have thought that from Cebu City(VCF-CEBU), we would meet all the way out here in the US. God is truly wonderful!
Harry & Judee hosted us all and took us to have dinner at a 'fancy' Itallian restaurant called "Bravo's" - the food was excellent.

The Fellowship was priceless! We are definitely contemplating another mini-reunion soon, and refresh long lasting freindships....what a well spent time together!
At the end of that day or early morning(2:30am), we all prayed and honored Jesus before leaving. A great ending to a great time of fellowship.

Looking forward to the next one guys!

This is what people do during the Fall Season at small town Michigan....
Gull Meadow Farm is only 2min away from our home and 'fun' according to my daughter. Our family soaked-in the Fall Season and the cool weather. This time of the year, the temperature averages 45-50F Degrees. The colors are just a sight to behold. God definitely intended this season to be a sight to behold that reflects the beauty that is in His nature. We couldn't help but be thankful and appreciative of Jesus and the blessing that surrounds us daily.....enjoy the Pix!

Sept 1-2 Labor day weekend: EN Toronto has their youth camp and I'm invited to minister. It was truly a joy and so much fun! Saturday night was for the youth....the Sunday Service was for all and it was wondeful as we worshiped and praised God 'OPEN AIR'! We had people from the park join us as well...
There were presentations done by the youth. And awards were given to the campers...everyone had a blessed day.

Blog EntryCrossing BordersAug 29, '07 1:25 AM
for everyone

Once a month I get to cross the border from Michigan to Canada.

I look forward to this once-a-month occasion. The reason....the next generation.

These are some of the of the 'Next-Gen'  Kids of EN Toronto...what's amazing is they comprise of more than half of the church's population here at Toronto.

Their average age is 13-15yrs my kind of people...makes me feel very youthful, alive,indestructible...

I remember when I first encountered the Gospel of Jesus.....at 21 in campus and i had one regret. The only regret was i should've been exposed to Jesus a lot earlier.  During my teens.

But Jesus saves us just at the right time. And i am forever grateful!

These 'Next Gen' youth are incredible....they are creative, imaginative, tech-saavy, and all-out enthusiastic for Jesus. Did I mention they're always hungry for food.....they love to eat!

This is what makes me go and cross the border driving 5-6 hrs each way. Its well worth the travel.

I know Jesus thinks their worth it.  They are the future leaders of our society .....

So here's to all you 'Next-Gen' youth. More Power, More Anointing, More Compassion for the Lord and all His people.

I look forward to being with you at your youth camp at Niagara.....wooohoo!

Here are some pictures i took from this trip....Here's the official border boundary line between the US and Canada at Port Huron, Michigan. Notice that half the sign is in French. Canada has French and English as their official language.

Pray that i might be instrumental in influencing these 'next-gen' people. I'll be their guest for the weekend of Sept 1-2, 2007, cant wait!

Blog Entry....Giants in the land!Aug 15, '07 3:07 PM
for everyone

During our vacation at Orlando we encountered a few Giants!!!! Good ones!

Thats right Ptr Keith Tower who, as you can see, is taller than I am despite the fact i am standing on a chair!.....Jay & Ginny Duque thought it was very funny....so did Jennifer Tower, Ptr Keith's wife.

Ptr Keith & Jennifer Tower pastor the EN HighPoint church in Orlando where in Ptr Jay & Ginny Duque have joined recently to help gather-in the harvests. The Towers are just a wonderful, wonderful couple.....such warm, hospitable, and loving people.

My family had the pleasure of joining them for their Sunday Celebration service at HighPoint and it was a wonderful experience. It felt like 'family'.

Do we look like little children 'sitting' in this photo or what? If I may say, i was already on my tippy-toes when this pic was taken...

Ptr Jay & Ginny were also welcomed and introduced this sunday as a part of the Highpoint Family...it was a joy to join them.

We Joined them for lunch after the Service for some juicy steaks and got to fellowship with Ptr Andy & Amy King, Jerome Duque (jay's bro) and his daughter Jaime  and definitely had a blast to say the least.....

Here are the kiddies with Jennifer Tower having fun getting a name for one of their stuff doggies ....

Ahhh....the Angels of HighPoint Orlando! More like the 'power' behind the men of Highpoint.....did i mention that we had fun?

It was a delight and a joy for my family to join this Spiritual family @HighPoint Orlando FL.This certainly was the 'HighPoint' (pun intended) of our vacation at Orlando....

Thanks Ptr Keith & Jennifer, ptr Jay & Ginny, ptr Andy & Amy, Jerome & all the Kiddies....what a Church!

...if you happen to be at Orlando, Fl. please do not hesitate to look-up these people....they're 'good' spiritual and natural Giants......really!

Blog Entry@ Batangas Lipa.....awe'd!Aug 14, '07 11:04 PM
for everyone

This is Ptr Raymond De Guzman. Ray and his wife Malou pastor the mighty EN VCF Batangas church. They had asked if I could minister at their Sunday service before I left for the US...How could i say no!!! I love these people, Ray was one of the best disciples we had while back in UPLB....His wife too.

The testimony and faith of this couple is just something to admire. They believed God to raise up a church in Batangas and saw this 'barren' barn and had the vision to see it filled with the Lords people. Now they are struggling to accomodate all the people coming to the services; they now have 4-5 services every weekend to meet the spiritual needs of Batangas! Its phenomenal...when you think they started here 3-4yrs ago! Something in the water?....Its Jesus, i think, personally...The capacity of the "Barn" turned Bldg is about 600+ and they are just packing it in.......glory to God!

These pastors are just incredible in their humilty and servitude....No wonder Jesus uses them! I asked them how did all these things come about...'Its Jesus' they'll say...despite the many unsung and endless labors they've faced...wow!

Their hearts beat for the nation and to see 'disciples' not just 'conversions'....If Jesus be lifted-up high He will draw all men to himself!

John the baptist said it best "i must decrease, He must increase.." Humility.....and the power of the Lord's grace....."God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble".  To the Batangas People God bless you all.....halleluyahhh!!!!

In this photo Ptr Ray, Me and youth Ptr Louie Santos who with his wife and family serve the lovely people of Batangas...Be blessed ya'll!!!

By the way did i mention that the Governor and even the Mayor of this city area asks these men to cover them in prayer and seek their counsel! Discipleship.....the nations await!

Hey Oly and Gel! Thanks for your birthday wishes! I can't believe a quarter of a century has already passed! Everything's fine for me. I'm learning a lot from my year at the uni even if it wasn't my first option. I was expecting so much to be back to the USA this year that I tried to adapt myself to this other option. It's so difficult to get a visa for the USA. Maybe next year, I'm gonna go to England. There's a program to become a French teacher there. It's a 6 month paid internship with 3 months of school and then we're a teacher officially.
I'm glad to hear the three of you are fine.
Miss you
Love
